Step 4: At this point, you will see the warning box shown
below. Go ahead and click continue.
Step 5: The import PCP or PC2 page appears. You can click
NEXT
Step 6: The Ports page appears. On this screen, you want to
click the middle selector button, "Print to File" and click Next.
Step 7: The Name screen appears. You can give this plotter
any name you want, although EcoVantage is recommended.
Step 8: The Finish Screen Appears. Click Edit Plotter
Configuration. Doing this step will ensure that all of your pen
colors map correctly when you crate a plot file and send it to us.
Once you click Edit Plotter Configuration, you will see this dialog box:
Select the graphics menu item:
Select Vector Graphics, and in the resolution and color depths area of
the window chose 255 virtual pens from the drop down.
Now, you will want to "print out" the plot file and send it to
us. When you are finished with your file:
1.Select Plot from the File Menu in AutoCad
2. Select the EcoVantage plotter that we set up above, in the Name
field. In the Plot style table section below that, select the
EcoVantage.ctb file that you installed before.
3. Select the Paper Size- either 30 x 42 inches or 36 by 48 inches.
And you are ready to go!
